 Two Army porters were injured when they slipped from a hill in border town of Uri at the Line of Control (LoC) in this north Kashmir on Tuesday, official sources said.

They said two porters identified as Mohammad Rameez Poswal and Mohammad Ramzan Poswal were on way to a forward post at LoC in village Nawarunda in Uri when they slipped from a hill.

However, immediately rescue operation was launched and both the porters were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Uri. However, they were later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla.
